Tokyo International Forum is in the business heart of Tokyo, a stone’s throw from Tokyo station, adjacent to Ginza, home to virtually all top overseas and domestic brands and established as the most popular and attractive event hall in Japan in recent years.

Participant eligibility criteria

· Participation is limited to companies capable of engaging in practical business negotiations and effectively adapted to the Japanese market.
  · No group participation admitted.
  · Companies selling high quality textiles.
  ·

・ To have a clear indication of the price/quality (batch) / delivery time for products and possess an organised system/structure for sales to Japan.

※ The Organizer shall not be responsible for any formalities nor assistance with the followings.
     -  Immigration visa for stay in Japan
     -  Arrangement/interceding agent in Japan

  · To handle original products and be capable of planning and presenting newly-developed products on a continuous basis.
  · To agree with the PTJ purpose/policy and comply with regulations established by JFW.



Fulfilling support for exhibitors alongside enriched business support

· We provide business-oriented programmes, which have been widely acclaimed by buyers and exhibitors to date, with feedback such as ‘Successful and intensive business dialogue was achieved.’
  · We organise briefings for exhibitors and constantly provide effective information, effectively guiding exhibitors from preparation to participation.
  · We also support textile development to promote products by providing JFW textile trends and optimising information.
  · We offer a stylish and highly efficient package booth; fully equipped for business negotiations.



Measures to prevent COVID-19 infection

We will prepare for the upcoming show by voluntarily implementing necessary preventive measures in accordance with the ‘Advice on Control Measures against Novel Coronavirus’ as suggested by the Novel Coronavirus Expert Meeting as part of efforts to launch and hold a safe business negotiation salon.

Post-application schedule: (provisional)
  - Submission of general applications  >>> 18, December 2020
  - Submission of documents required for the screening/jury >>> by 25 December, 2020 (Fri.)

  - Announcement after screening / judgement >>> Mid/January, 2021 (provisional)
  - Distribution of Exhibitor Manual >>> Mid/February 2021
  - Announcement of Booth No. >>> Beg./March 2021


Cancellation charge
  -

On/after March 1, 2021: 100% of the total participation fee.



Special Provisions for COVID-19
  -

Scope to decline participation allowed till Feb. 28, 2021.



◆Those who wish to refrain from participating for reasons linked to COVID-19 are kindly requested to send written notification of the decision not to participate, specifying the reason for cancellation and including the company stamp, by either fax or email to the Secretariat of the JFW Textile Division.


i. In case an isolation order is imposed on persons entering Japan
ii. In case incoming flights to Japan are cancelled
iii. In case travel restrictions to Japan are imposed
